Show HN: TapeHead – A CLI tool for stateful random access of file streams
github.comI wrote this tool while debugging a driver because I couldn't find a tool that allowed me to open a file, seek randomly, and read and write.
I thought it might one day be useful to someone too.
This might also be useful for controlling actual tape drives. :P
